PWB is a program dedicated to providing Black caregivers with the tools and support to raise confident and resilient Black youth.

About the Program

Black families engage in conversations around personal experiences with their child's well-being and education. The curriculum includes 8 sessions that use a combination of activities to promote successful parenting around:
1) proactively facilitating positive racial identity
2) enhancing youth and parents’ strategies for responding to racism experiences
3) cultivating best practices in educational involvement; and
4) managing the trauma and psychological distress associated with racism
