Waverly Duck wins NCSA Article Award

Department of Sociology Associate Professor Waverly Duck’s article with Anne Warfield Rawls, “Fractured Reflections” of High-Status Black Male Presentations of Self: Nonrecognition of Identity as a “Tacit” Form of Institutional Racism, is the winner of the North Central Sociological Association's 2018 award for an article.  All three judges were very impressed by the researchers’ commitment to research and innovative perspectives.
