Sharon Ross

Personal Biography

Dr. Sharon Ross is an Associate Professor of Health and Human Development and the Interim Executive Director of the Office of Child Development in the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. She holds a secondary appointment in the Behavioral and Community Health Sciences in the School of Public Health. Dr. Ross' expertise centers on healthy lifestyle promotion in children and families, primarily in the Latino community. She employs community based participatory research methods to design promotora-led home- and community-based interventions to promote health equity in Latino families.
