Personal Biography
Nadia is a project manager specializing in maternal and child health, with a strong focus on advancing community-based care models and promoting Black maternal health equity. Based in Pittsburgh, she brings years of experience as a doula, having supported over 100 families with culturally competent, bilingual care. As the coordinator for an NIH-funded initiative, she bridges the gap between academic research and community voices, ensuring Black mothers remain central to the conversation. Passionate about environmental justice and stewardship, they are committed to building healthier, more sustainable communities, balancing professional advocacy with a deep commitment to collective care and community resilience.
