I am a community engaged scholar who connects local and global innovations in culturally rich education for racial pride and equity. As an Indigenous ally, consultant, and Fulbright Hays partner, I work on fostering appreciation for a wide range of African Indigenous pedagogies and philosophies. As an arts-based scholar and ethnographer, I sustain collaborations that enrich Africans, members of the greater African Diaspora, and those who need to learn about these innovators and leaders. I work in US and Latin American schools with African-American curricula (AA AP History) and professional networks. Most recently, my extended work in Belgium, Germany, Kenya, Senegal and Gambia has helped to push my collaborations with global museum educators and curators who are decolonizing on their own terms.
