Diane Powell

Personal Biography

Diane Powell is the Director of Community and Family Builders. The mission is to advance equity in high-need communities through health and wellness initiatives, with an emphasis on Senior Health. She is also a Community Ambassador for the Allegheny County BOLD program.

Diane Powell founded the nonprofit, Community and Family Builders, and serves as Executive Director.  She comes to the work of advancing equity and supporting women and families, having led a violence prevention network for ten years.   Diane holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration.  She is a certified Community Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association and is a board member with Women for the Future.  Previously, she served as a Trustee with the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
