Other Internally Funded Projects

Kyaien Conner, and Latika Davis-Jones, Measuring Race and Ethnicity:
Inside and Out.
The goal for this project is to collect and compile the best instruments which measure intra-racial phenomena such as racial self-esteem, racial identity, and acculturation as well as those which measure interracial phenomena such racial prejudice and conflict. Thus far we have collected almost 100 of these scales. Each scale has been abstracted and written up with a brief description of its purpose, intended audience, prior usage and psychometric properties. Permission to reproduce these scales has been obtained from their respective authors. We hope to complete this project this academic year. We are considering whether to publish this collection as a CRSP publication or to go with a traditional commercial press.
